How to Care for Your Wooden Wick Candle
A few simple steps to get the most from your Wick Moment candle.
The first burn matters
On the first light, let the wax melt all the way to the edges (about 1–2 hours). This prevents tunnelling and gives an even burn every time.
Trim the wooden wick
Before each burn, trim the wooden wick to about 3–5 mm and remove any charred bits. A clean wick means a brighter flame and that signature gentle crackle.
Lighting tip
Wooden wicks can take a little longer to catch. Tilt the candle slightly and hold the flame to the wick for a few seconds until it stays lit.
Keep burns under 4 hours
Let your candle rest after 3–4 hours so the wax and fragrance last longer.
Burn safely
Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, children and pets, and place it on a heat-safe surface.
Store with care
Keep your candle away from direct sunlight to protect its scent and colour.
